4A have something to tweet about

Dear Bloggers,

Last Wednesday 4A really had something to tweet about.    On mass the robotic birds were programmed to make the swooshing sounds of wings rhythmically flapping as the birds flew in search of warmer lands.  After the mighty migration the birds were programmed to make tweeting and eating noises as the children fed their avian friends after their great flight.

3A have a ‘Roaringly’ good time

Dear Bloggers,

3A successfully made and programmed lions to rise up and roar and then to sit down and sleep.  Things became more complex when the children attached tilt sensors to food and fed it to their lions.  The lions were then programmed to sit down and make eating sounds.

3C Build and Program Starving Crocodiles to eat

Dear Bloggers,

The crocodiles that the children made the week before were extremely ravenous so it was with great speed and skill that 3C programmed them to eat.  A motion sensor to detect the food and a loop in the program to allow continuous chewing did the trick.  The children also made copious amounts of yummy food for their crocodiles.

3A Make Snapping Crocodiles

Dear Bloggers,

With great skill and courage 3A built snapping crocodiles.  The students then skillfully programmed the crocs to eat and make a munching sound when the motion sensor detected food.
