Dear Bloggers,

The design brief today was to make a cart for selling popcorn that was mobile, stable and had a revolving sign that could be hand turned. Initially we discussed the speed that the sign should turn at.  Our previous lesson had been all about speed making our ride as fast as possible.  A sign, however, must be read so it has to turn slowly.  We brainstormed words to go on the sign and what text and colours should be used. Look at the wonderful results below.

 

      A Special tractor pulls the cart.

The driver has a specially designed seat.

This driver has seat belts.

The sign has a logo ‘P’.

      Cooperative learning.
